Leah Moore found her niche in the nonprofit sector, energized by its creativity and commitment to shared learning. She has over five years of experience advising exempt organizations, serving as outside counsel and as in-house counsel. She is passionate about using her nonprofit legal expertise to help organizations advance their mission.

Leah began her legal career at a boutique trust and estates firm, focusing on exempt organizations and charitable giving and advising on formation, governance, planned giving, and excise taxes. Most recently, Leah worked as Senior Legal Counsel to TechSoup Global. During this time, Leah also served as Senior Legal Counsel to NGOsource, a program of TechSoup Global, where she was responsible for overseeing a portfolio of equivalency determination requests in over 120 countries and growing the program’s capacity through building training programs for the operations and legal teams. Prior to beginning her legal career, Leah worked as a fellow with Children at Risk and as a college adviser with the College Advising Corps.

Leah received her B.A. from Texas A&M University and her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.
