Matthew is passionate about LGTBQ+ rights, immigration reform, and environmental protection. He has a Juris Doctorate degree from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Science. in Geoscience and a minor in Environmental Health from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

Matthew comes to the Build Up Companies with a legal background acquired through a variety of settings. He has worked as a law clerk for an international corporate law firm and has interned for a non-profit immigration law firm and multiple government agencies. He is excited to leverage his experience with his passion for advancing the public interest as one of Build Up’s Relationship & Legal Associates.

Matthew is based in New York City, and when not working, you can probably find him discovering new music to listen to, writing poetry and screenplays, or playing volleyball as a part of Gotham Volleyball, one of New York’s original and largest LGBTQ sports leagues (he’s a setter).
